  • Consult, plan, analyze, design, develop, test, assure quality, configure, install, implement, integrate, maintain, and manage systems.
  • Analyzing, defining and documenting customer needs and required functionality
  • Design, develop and test theoretical and/or physical models and develop the system design, considering operational impacts, performance, testing, manufacturing, cost and schedule, training, maintenance, and support.
  • Analyze system capacity and performance to support problem resolution and system enhancements and monitors systems tests.
  • Respond to inquiries from a variety of sources for providing technical assistance, consultation, advice and support, and regularly provides advice and recommends actions and solutions involving complex issues.

Job Description:

Works on various network types of equipment and related devices from a security protection emphasis to include installing; troubleshooting; modifying; testing. Conduct security assessments and security consulting services. Analyze information security requirements. Performs certification for C&A processes for the accreditations of systems. Performs vulnerability analysis and assessment using either government or commercial off-the-shelf technologies. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience as well as a MA/MS or higher degree.   • Independently build test network or system prototypes, performing equipment set-up, testing, and participating in test report writing.
  • Can develop attack programs to verify security assurance and weakness capability.
  • Gather and organize technical information about an organization's missions, goals, and requirements, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the IA arena.
  • Perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized technology problems. Integrates electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to IA requirements.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Common Criteria Language, and FIPS 140 standards.
  • CISSP (or Associate)
  • CASP CE
  • CSSLP
